This month we take a journey into the depths of our soul. We will learn to cultivate an “Attitude of Gratitude” through a transformation that is going to shift the soul.
For some, this may be an uncomfortable experience, and for others, it is just what we need. However you see it, and if you are reading this, then I firmly believe, it is NOT a coincidence that you have made your way to this blog.
We will be studying from the book, “Wings of Soul” by Dadi Janki gifted to me to borrow by an incredible yogini and local New Orleans, musician Allie Porter.
Dadi Janki is a woman of deep spiritual stature and is one of India’s first female spiritual leaders empowering women to become leaders in their own communities. She is one of the Keepers of Wisdom, an eminent group of spiritual and religious leaders that advises political leaders on fundamental spiritual dilemmas that underpin current worldwide issues and she is the co-administrative head of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University. In her book, “Wings of Soul” she speaks of humility, truth, forgiveness, acceptance, the ego, God, our spiritual walk, and much more that we come to face daily.
What struck the biggest cord for me was being faced with having to be taken out of my comfort zone and having a significant reality check. Which is why I preface this blog, as one NOT for the faint of heart, but for those seeking a significant transformation. However, to see the transformation, you must become a willing participant, have an open mind, and learn to let go of your ego self. (It is and will be very hard to do)….
