Is a gentle and very low impact aquatic activity. Aqua Yoga takes the principles and movements of Yoga and adapts them to the water environment. With the release of gravity the body is able to find the optimum stretch. By using the rhythm of the breath an inner sense of relaxation can be achieved. We use various water props to encourage strength building. All levels of practice is welcome to participate in this flow.

This class is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. Class is slower paced and focuses on developing clear and safe alignment in foundation poses. You don’t need to be able to touch your toes; you just have to be willing to try. Bring a mat, blocks, strap, and anything else you may need for your practice. Depending on location, some studios provide these props for us.
Bhakti Yoga is one of the four main yogic paths to enlightenment. Bhakti means “devotion to God” or “love” and this path contains various practices to unite the bhakta (Bhakti Yoga practitioner) with the Divine. We practice this style of yoga by incorporating chanting, singing, use of instruments, dance, and meditation through the asana practice. Bhakti Yoga ignites the spiritual transformation within the student to connect deeper to their spiritual practice, and if they haven’t embraced one, it opens up their heart to the unlimited paths to begin their personal journey.
With a chair or two for support, this class challenges the body and mind through strengthening, stretching, relaxing and breathing. Flexibility, and muscle tone will continually improve as your mind, body and spirit work together in harmony. This class is for those who have issues getting up and down from the floor, recovering and rehabilitating from an injury or accident, or for anyone preferring a chair for their main seat.
CONNECTED WARRIORS YOGA
A medium flow class geared towards restoring trauma associated with military combat, PTS and PTSD aka “Soldier’s Heart”, families and caregivers battling to restore their lives. There are a variety of flows we work with intending to bring peace amidst the chaos. Props are provided just bring a mat. No yoga experience is needed, just a willingness to be present and learn. This practice will transform your life.
Gentle Vinyasa yoga is an intuitive group class that features personal modifications and emphasizes integrating mind, body, spirit, and breath–all within a playful, safe environment. All are encouraged to accept themselves where they are in their practice without expectations and truly experiencing it. Meditation and pranayama are included in each session. Props are used to assist throughout the practice.
In Hatha Yoga, we come into the breath and quiet the mind as we find steadiness in asana (poses) and attain increased balance through a spirited and challenging flow. In addition to an empowered sequence, meditation, pranayama, guided visualization, and mantra are offered in each session.

Pre-Natal Yoga is a practice specially designed for all stages of pregnancy. These classes generally focus on soothing the discomforts that may accompany pregnancy while encouraging one to become fully present and fully connected. The class will also focus on yogic breathing practices and mantra meditations.
Restorative yoga is the use of props to support the body in positions of ease and comfort to facilitate relaxation and health. It is a practice of deliberate stillness and requires no muscular effort. In this class, we will settle into some supported floor poses for intervals of about 5-20 minutes while releasing tension, gently breathing, and allowing gravity to draw us towards the steadiness of the earth underneath. Restorative yoga poses manipulate our nervous system in such a way that reduces the influence of our sympathetic nervous system and increases the efforts of our parasympathetic nervous system so that we may take rest. This class is a practice of actively cultivating the attitude of letting go and will help you deeply relax.
VINYASA Vinyasa yoga is the connection of movement with breath. We cultivate physical and emotional openings through a variety of sequencing based on a theme. These Classes are taught in a spirited and uplifting pace to keep the heart rate up and then come to a slow down and mediation at the end of class. Assists are used in the class and props are welcome to help deepen into poses.
YIN Yin is a passive practice where poses are held for 3-5 minutes at a time with the focus on the connective tissues of the body. Many postures are hip openers geared towards releasing stored tension in the body and fascia. We use props to support us in the poses and invite a guided mediation throughout the practice. You will feel a release of emotion during, after, or throughout the week after this class.
In this class, we combine pilates and yoga for a total body workout focused on toning the glutes, thighs and stomach. Develop your core strength and stabilization through pilates poses, and improve your flexibility, muscular strength, posture and alignment through yoga poses, breathing and relaxation.
